This multi purpose shredding screen is for the Eliet Maestro Petrol Shredder. When shredding damp material, the finely cut chippings can form a paste that clogs the holes of the normal screen so that the chipper quickly becomes full. To prevent this, this multi purpose screen can be mounted before chipping damp material.
This multi purpose screen is for the Eliet Major Pro (Honda engine) model. If you want to chip/shred damp products on a regular basis, it is advisable to replace the standard sieve screen with this multi purpose screen for leaves and other damp vegetation.
When chipping damp products with the Primo, the 18,000 chops per minute cutting action will reduce these products into a fine paste.This can result in the holes in the standard shredding screen becoming clogged. If this is the case, chip two branches, and this will be sufficient to unclog the screen. However, if no branches are available, you can also replace the standard screen with this multi purpose screen for leaves and damp products. This special screen will not clog.
